Kids will love creating this Finger Paint Name Art.
We used our favorite edible finger paint recipe from our partner, Imperial Sugar, to make this craft truly unique!
It’s perfect for older kids who will enjoy using a paint brush to add color to their artwork. And it’s great for younger kids, too, because the edible finger paint is taste-safe.
Finger Paint Name Art
Here’s what you need to make this Finger Paint Name Art:
- Edible Finger Paint
- Canvas or Cardboard
- Alphabet Stickers
- Paintbrush (optional)
Use the alphabet letters to spell out the child’s name on the canvas. Be sure to press firmly so that they stick in place.
Now comes the fun part! Cover the canvas with finger paint — the thicker, the more vibrant the color.
Just remember that thicker finger paint takes longer to dry.
Allow to dry completely, up to 24 hours.
Once the paint is dry, pull up the stickers to reveal your child’s name.
Isn’t it cool?
