DIY Essential Oil Body Spray
The first impression is so important! That’s why we recommend making your own body spray that represents who you are. By making your own perfume, you can choose your favorite scents as well as the strength – I always recommend making a light scent as you don’t want to overpower the entire room! What I love the most about making my own fragrances is that they are completely natural, since I don’t like the alcohol smell that commercial body sprays have. I don’t like artificial fragrances – yuck! Another plus is that you can make a lot at very affordable prices as you don’t need a lot of supplies to make your essential oil perfume, making it a great option if you are looking to save up money (and they last a long time!) But the best part about this natural body spray recipe is that it uses essential oil blends which have actual benefits to your health. And there are so many different scents — For example, sweet orange essential oil helps calm anxiety, clear the mind, and also has anti-bacterial and anti-inflammatory properties. Lavender essential oil is also one of those fun scents that promote relaxation and helps reduce anxiety, allergies, insomnia, and even helps reduce menstrual cramps, which is a great choice for tweens. Using ylang ylang as a base note is also a good option as it helps promote relaxation, improves memory and thinking skills, and many other benefits. And it’s got such a clean scent that smells much better than all commercial perfumes I know.Supplies
- Spray bottle (you can use a small spray bottle if you want to keep it in your purse)

Instructions to make DIY body spray:
So as you can see, with some drops of essential oil and other simple ingredients, you’ll be able to make lots of different homemade body sprays – in fact, a great idea is gifting them to friends and family during the holidays. Step 1: Before you make a body spray, you’ll need to gather your ingredients and supplies. Step 2: Keep in mind that you’ll also need to keep things fresh. An easy way is by adding a preservative (witch hazel, vodka, or vegetable glycerin). Step 3: Add your carrier oils – this will prevent them from being too concentrated when you add them to your body spray mixture. It will also help to evenly disperse the scent throughout the bottle. Step 4: There are other ingredients you can use in your body spray to add scents to it besides essential oils. For example, you might consider using vanilla or raspberry extract for different variations. Step 5: Add a few drops of your favorite essential oils to the bottle along with every other ingredient, mix well, and enjoy your essential oil perfume!

ESSENTIAL OILS FOR BODY SPRAY
Creating the perfect essential oil blend for your body spray will depend on personal taste. You will want to use scents that you know you enjoy, as well as scents that complement each other well. Here are some ideas:- Citrus spray. You might consider trying a citrus body spray. In this case, you would use lemon, lime, orange, and/or grapefruit essential oils to achieve a citrusy aroma.
- Floral spray. If you love floral scents, then this body spray idea may be perfect for you. You can use rose, lavender, and jasmine essential oils to create a heavenly floral scent.
- Spicy spray. If you love spicy scents, then you might choose essential oils like ginger, cinnamon, and nutmeg. You might also consider adding an extra ingredient like vanilla extract. This would be a perfect combination for an autumn body spray.
