HOW TO USE AN ESSENTIAL OIL DIFFUSER
Diffusers are used to help you reap the health benefits of essential oil aromatherapy in any room of your home. They work to disperse the aroma of the oils throughout the room, while making the room smell great. It only takes a few drops of essential oil to diffuse the scent through a large area of your room or office spaces and the power of scent lasts much longer than other air fresheners and without dangerous chemicals. There are many different types of diffusers, but our favorite diffuser and high-quality essential oils are from Young Living. They have a powerful diffuser that increases the therapeutic benefit of your pure essential oils. You really only need a few drops of oil to enjoy all of its benefits! Although essential oils are safe, it’s important to remember that using essential oils is more about accentuating your health and supporting your immune system, not treating disease! If you have health concerns, experience side effects, or are going through medical treatment, you should ask for professional medical advice before trying essential oils. Enjoying the aromatherapy benefits with the right diffuser is very easy as most of them have a very simple design. Step 1: Fill your diffuser’s water reservoir using clean, room-temperature water. Make sure you don’t overfill, using the fill line on your diffuser as a guide. Step 2: Add 5-12 drops of essential oils, depending on the oil you’re using and the type of diffuser. You can add more oil if you’re going for a strong smell. Step 3: Experiment with different oils to see what works best for your needs. If it doesn’t feel like enough, try a slightly larger amount of essential oil drops. An easy way to get started is by trying the most popular essential oils:- Peppermint oil
- Tea tree oil
- Citrus oils — lemon oil, orange oil, lime oil
- Lavender oil
- Eucalyptus oil

Caring for Your Essential Oil Diffuser
Using your aroma diffuser is pretty simple but taking care of it is going to be the very important part. Here are some tips for cleaning your diffuser:- Always clean the nozzle before switching oils so you don’t have residue from the old oil.
- Rinse the nozzle with clean tap water. If it needs a deep cleaning, the best way to achieve it is by submerging the top in alcohol for a few minutes to release any residue or gunk that may have built up.
- You should always unplug before cleaning and unplug after use.
- Clean the inside of your water tank regularly as well, so fungus and bacteria don’t grow inside the water tank.
- Never use harsh cleaners on your diffuser.
