What I love about Hamburger Scalloped Potatoes is that it’s not only easy to make, but that my kids love it too. It makes a great alternative to tater tot casserole for when you want something a little more dressed up for company. I love it because it combines nutrition from different food groups and it’s filling.
Let’s make hamburger scalloped potatoes
Making Hamburger Scalloped Potatoes is pretty straightforward. You’ll brown the hamburger with seasonings and then make a simple cheese sauce. Then everything is added to a large casserole dish and baked. What I love about casserole recipes is that they can be frozen for a rainy day or made a day ahead (they almost always taste better on the second day).
