Let’s make this yummy raspberry banana smoothie recipe!
I’m always looking for healthy and delicious ways to get more nutrition into my children. Six days out of seven, you can bet that they’re asking for some sort of dessert or treat after dinner.
On the seventh day, they don’t have to ask because I’ve just given it to them. One of my own favorite treats is to make a frozen fruit mixture to enjoy as frozen yogurt. It has all the delicious sweetness and fruity flavor of delicious frozen yogurt, or even ice cream, but with the wholesome goodness of fruit. There’s no added sugar, so this is really something you can feel good about giving to your kids.

Step 1
Blend together the banana and yogurt until smooth. This mixture is a creamy and delicious base. (You can swap the raspberries for other frozen fruit such as strawberries or blueberries if you prefer).
Step 2
Add the frozen raspberries to the blender and process until smooth and creamy.
That’s it. Simple right? This makes about 2-3 servings. You can serve it immediately, or chill it in the freezer for 20 minutes.

Your kids will gobble this up and think they’ve just been served a delicious ice cream treat. But you’ll know that you’ve given them two servings of fruit, plus Dairy to boot!
This is a great way to add more nutrition to your children’s diet, without the fight that sometimes goes along with getting them to eat their fruits and vegetables. And I have to tell you, it’s a great treat for moms and dads, too. I hope you enjoy this soon!
