Ziploc Fudge in a baggie is one of my favorite treats to make because it is just what it sounds like — fudge made in a Ziploc baggie! My son loves to help make it. He’s an expert at squishing all the ingredients together to create this creamy fudge. In fact, kids of all ages will love helping to make fudge in a bag!

Easy Fudge Recipe without Condensed Milk
Fudge can be tricky to make, but this method of making it in a Ziploc bag takes the tediousness out of fudge making without removing flavor!
It’s sweet, chewy, and delicious! The best part is, your kids can even help make it. Unlike regular fudge you’re not dealing with candy thermometer and the stove.
Ingredients for Chocolate Fudge in a Bag
- 1/2 cup of butter
- 4 oz cream cheese
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 2/3 c unsweetened cocoa powder
- 1 lb. powdered sugar
- 1 gallon-sized Ziploc bag
Directions to Make Baggie Easy Fudge

Step 1
Cover a plate with aluminum foil and set aside.
Step 2
In the Ziploc bag, combine the butter, cream cheese and vanilla.
Step 3
Squish the bag to mix well.
Step 4
Add the cocoa powder and powdered sugar and squish to mix.
Step 5
Scoop the fudge onto the paper plate and allow to harden. I like to put mine in the freezer to speed up the process.

Step 6
Cut and serve!
Note:
If you like nuts on your fudge, press them on top once you squish them on a plate or add them while you’re mixing in the baggy!

Does fudge need to be refrigerated?
Our Ziploc Fudge recipe is best stored in the fridge due to uncooked ingredients including butter and cream cheese.
How long does fudge last in the fridge?
Fudge will last in the fridge for up to 5 days, but it never lasts that long at my house!
Can you freeze fudge?
Yes! In fact, we freeze fudge ahead of the holiday season for cookie plates and holiday parties. It is best if used within 3 months and you can defrost it overnight by placing it in the fridge.
