Ingredients for the Easiest Ever Slow Cooker Glazed Dill Carrots Recipe
- 2 pound bag of fresh, raw baby carrots (peeled)
- 1/2 c chicken broth
- 1 T maple syrup
- 1 t olive oil
- 2 T dill weed
- 1 T butter
Steps to make the Easiest Ever Slow Cooker Glazed Dill Carrots Recipe
Step 1
Place the carrots in the slow cooker. Remember, your slow cooker works best when 2/3 of the way full, so using a 4 qt slow cooker would be best unless you are doubling this recipe.
Step 2
Evenly pour the broth and olive oil over the carrots.
Step 3
Pop the lid on it and cook on low for 3 hours.
Step 4
Remember, do not take the lid off during cooking time. Every time you do this it adds 20 minutes to the cooking time.
Step 5
After the carrots have cooked for 3 hours, take the lid off and sprinkle with the dill weed and add in the butter. Stir with a spoon until carrots are well coated.
Step 6
Transfer the carrots to a serving dish and enjoy this as an amazing side dish. These will go perfectly with just about any protein as your main dish.

Your recipe doesn’t say when to add the maple syrup. Also is that real maple?
Hi, Tina. You can add it will all of the other ingredients, or add it at the very end and then toss to coat the carrots well. You can use whichever maple syrup you prefer!
