Yogurt Topping Buffet with Yulu
Yogurt is a favorite food in our house – it is one of the few things that all of us can agree on!
We were really excited to be asked to try Yulu Yogurt (Kids Activities Blog sponsor) that was released this month. It is an US-made, Australian-styled, double-smoothed, super-delicious choice.
Yulu comes packaged in a clear container that you can peek inside to see the difference. It is extra creamy. You can see that right away!
While Yulu is super yummy by itself (or for an super-smooth smoothie), we thought it would be fun to have a topping bar after-school snack station using a muffin tin or cupcake liners.
The thing about yogurt is that it goes with almost anything. We were using Yulu’s Vanilla Bean flavor as our base. And then I filled cupcake liners with some of our favorite yogurt toppings:
- Coconut chips
- Peanut butter
- Pine nubs
- Orange Marmelade
- Rice Krispies
I like using things like peanut butter or jelly to mix in. It enhances the flavors and every once in awhile you get a little extra bite of it.
The kids created sundae-inspired treats from our yogurt topping bar.
I settled on the coconut chips & pepitas for a sweet and salty combination.
Let’s just say that pretty much every child-creation included some sprinkle combination!
