Games you can play with these colored hearts playing cards:
Go Fish – print out 4 sets of cards. Each player gets 6 cards. The rest of the cards sit on the table, face down, spread out to represent a “fishing pond”. Each player takes a turn by asking a one other player if they have a single match to one card (“Sarah, do you have a pink heart?”). If the player asked (player B) has the requested card, they give the card to the player asking (player A). If player B does not have a match, they reply “no, go fish”. Player A then takes a card from fishing pond. Player A continues to take turns until they come up without a match. Each player sets their matched pairs face up on the table in front of their seat. Continue taking turns until one player runs out of cards in their hand. The player with the most matched pairs wins.
Memory/Match game – print out 2 sets of cards. Lay all the cards out on the table face down. Players take turns flipping over two cards. If the cards match, the player keeps the cards and takes another turn. If the cards do not match, the player player takes a turn. Play until all cards are removed from the table.
