I am certainly not an expert in the world of creating the perfect drink. But I was given the task of creating a delicious cocktail for a girl's night out with the main ingredient being either Lipton's 100 Calorie Half & Half drink or the Lipton Diet Green Tea with Honey Ginseng!
So I put together my own mixology team “ my husband and me — and we tried our hand in mixing our favorite ingredients with Lipton tea. After all my husband was a bartender in college so I felt like I had a ringer. But making a drink isn't as easy as it sounds, especially when you want to come up with something unique that my girl friends will like.
So my first step was deciding which tea I would use. The Lipton 100 Calories Half Ice Tea & Half Lemonade was perfect the way it was. It's hard to improve on the famous Arnold Palmer drink. So I decided to go with the green tea. I love green tea and thought I could make something different and fairly healthy. So we started mixing! We added orange juice ¦..no! Rum ¦ too strong! Pineapple juice ¦..hmmm just right!
So here is what we came up with:
Lipton Diet Green Tea Girls Night Out Drink
16 oz Lipton Diet Green Tea with Honey Ginseng
6 oz Pineapple juice
1 oz Grey Goose Vodka
Strawberries
Blueberries
Mix it all together and add the fruit to give it a nice sweet taste. This drink combines some of my favorite drinks and it makes a great cocktail for a ladies brunch! And if you don't have any plans for Valentine's Day, invite your girlfriends over tonight and serve this refreshment. I hope you like it as much as I do!
