I am not a huge hamburger fan. I am very, very picky about the hamburgs I eat. Weird patties creep me out.
But I crave Clown Burger.
My kids crave Clown Burger.
My good friend Kim got us hooked on this place about four years ago. She has been a regular customer since she was a little girl.
Clown Burger has been serving the Haltom City area in Tarrant County since 1959 and people drive near and far to get a combo meal.

The facility is not ascetically perfect. The atmosphere is not overly chummy. They are to the point when serving their customers. As a matter of fact there is a handwritten sign in their kitchen that says, ‘If you do not have something to do, find something to do. Peel potatoes.’
Sometimes they close early without warning.
Sometimes their credit card machine is down and they are only accepting cash.
Sometimes they take the week off to work for their favorite charity.
No matter the case, you patiently wait until you can get your hands on a Clown Burger. Seinfeld soup stand, anyone?
Dude, they KNOW their burgers. And their fries. Did I mention they hand cut their potatoes all day long? Their prices are very affordable. If you like a good burger or are picky about your hamburgers, this is a place to add to your DFW Best Restaurants list.
