So, I saw the commercial for the pocket chair…
Tired of standing around? Want to get off your feet? Oh those bulky folding chairs! How do you take a seat?
Thankfully, Adam Jay introduces us to the Pocket Chair.
The convenient and compact chair that folds up and fits right in your pocket!
I like to sit! I would like a chair that folds up and fits right into my pocket! I bought the pocket chair!

pocket chair

I took it out of the box and set it up. It unfolds and is re-enforced with a secured strap. ย  I was surprised that it was sturdy. It felt like it would NOT tip over. It felt like it would cut off circulation to my unfortunately exposed thigh. pocket chair with 5 year old sitting on it The seat is a strip of canvas that reminds me of a swing. ย  That part was mildly comfortable, but it is attached at both ends to part of the thin metal frame which dug into my hindside to a point where I just had to stand up. Not everyone in the family’s backside was too large for the seat. Rhett, who is 5, has claimed the pocket chair as his own. ย  He is not strong enough to fold and unfold it, but he carries it around wherever he goes. I even found him sleeping with it one night. He now calls it his chair. So, the Pocket Chair has a happy ending at my house. Oh, and for the big question… Does the chair REALLY fit in your pocket? You decide. pocket chair in pocketI have decided that anyone with a pocket BIG enough to accommodate the pocket chair, might have a behind too LARGE for it.

  1. Wow, it doesn’t really look like it’s made for an “average” adult. I too loved that this was a “happy ending” for your family (at least Rhett gets to enjoy it) ๐Ÿ™‚

  2. Very funny! I like to take a humorous approah to my reviews too. But who couldn’t with your experience with this chair? I do think it would be handy if you had a stroller or large bag that you could put it in. Then if you have a toddler or small child, they could sit on it instead of climbing on you to carry them when they get tired. ๐Ÿ™‚ Glad your son likes it!

  3. The pocket chair review is TOO funny! But also provided all the info I needed to decide it WOULD not be coming to my home soon. However it would be a great addition to anyone’s home that has kids who always want to hog the beach chairs! The name is definietly a misnomer but it did get out attention! Posting and laughing at the same time here! Oh and the $25. would be great! LOL

  4. I have to admit, this would be nice to have in the car for those times when you wished you had a place to sit (ie: wet, muddy, soccer field). And then the next time I ask my husband “is that a chair in your pocket or are you just happy to see me?” he can honestly answer, it’s a chair.
