Supplies Needed For Foot Painting

How To Do Foot Painting

Step 1

Lay out your paper.

Step 2

Fill your containers with shaving cream and mix acrylic paint in.

Have your kids dip their feet in the shaving cream and paint pictures on the paper.

Craft Notes:

Make sure your kids are wearing shorts that you don’t mind getting dirty. This is also a craft you wanna put something under or do outside.

Can you paint pictures or write your name?

There are ways to change up this craft to make it your own or to make it easier or harder for kids of all ages. You can do stuff like:

  • Don’t want to use shaving cream? You don’t have to. You can use regular acrylic or finger paint.
  • Have kids draw pictures with their feet. Can they make things like butterflies? Flowers? Animals?
  • Can you write your name using your toes or feet?
