The four of us had an extensive twitter conversation earlier this week discussing what one wears to such a momentous Dallas fashion event.
When we made it inside, we found mingling shoppers with drinks in one hand and H&M shopping bags in the other. This juggling act was intensified when bite-sized fancy food passed by on silver platters. I might have had several dozen strawberry tarts. Shhhh. Our first stop in the large store was the kids’ section. It was a bit less crowded than some of the other areas which made it easier to browse, take pictures and grab hors d’ourves. These little girls’ sweater dresses were precious and displayed with a wide assortment of coordinating leggings. The price? Under $15. The boys area was NOT skimpy. This is major because as a boy mom I know how most stores devote 70% of their space to girls and the boys rack is in a corner. The pants hanging in this picture were a really soft parachute-type material and priced at $9.95. We couldn’t help but shop a bit for ourselves. When I saw this cream colored dress priced at $29.95, I lost all self-control and started grabbing things for my H&M Shopping bag. I brought home a gorgeous sweater, a flowered blouse and this cream dress and spent less than $85. H&M…What took you so long to come to Dallas? She is Dallas info: H&M is located in NorthPark Mall in Dallas. The new location is one of 219 worldwide. Doors open officially at noon today. I actually just blogged about H&M Northpark! I’m so sad I didn’t know about this red carpet event! I would have loved to have gone!
I’ll be stopping in Saturday! I just kind of hate that Northpark is more than an hour away :/
OMG- I cant believe you didnt bring me to this. You are fired.
The affordable kids clothes are more compelling to me than clothes for myself! I just wonder if NorthPark is ready for my 15 passenger beast!
It was so fun to shop with you last night! Sorry I didn’t get a chance to say goodbye. I am so glad you got the dress and the sweater!!
Oh cant wait to shop!
