Why did Dairy Queen Get Rid of The Cherry Dipped Cone?

Although Dairy Queen’s cherry dipped cone was a staple and popular among customers, Dairy Queen has decided to remove it from menus.

While Dairy Queen has yet to confirm the reason, some have said it’s because they’ve stopped production on the flavor. Other say, it’s because butterscotch flavor has taken its place.

Will the Dairy Queen Cherry Dipped Cone Comeback?

As of right now, Dairy Queen hasn’t released any plans to bring back this fan-favorite flavor. However, only time will tell if they decide to bring back the cherry-dipped flavor.

For now, if you want one last taste of the cherry dipped cone at DQ, call your local DQ and see if they have any left. Some locations do.

  1. We haven’t had cherry dipped cones at our Dairy Queen in Texas for a very long time. At least 25 years.

    1. I’m sorry to hear that, Leslie! It’s crazy how each location has a different menu! My DQ still has them for now, but who knows for how much longer 🙁
