Create this dog DIY project to keep your dogs busy at home. You can use special treats in this DIY dog treat station or make mealtime extra challenging and fun.

Supplies Needed to Make DIY Dog Toy Project

Directions to Make Spin the Bottle Dog Game

Step 1

Using a saw, cut the 1×4 into:

  • Three pieces that are 16 inches long each
  • Two pieces that are 10 inches long each

Cut the dowel to 17 3/4 inches long.

Step 2

Using a drill, create:

  • Drill a 1/4-inch hole through two of the 16 inch pieces about 4 inches from the top. You want to make sure they are aligned so that you can fit the dowel rod through the holes.
  • Drill holes through the sides of each plastic bottle.

This is how to assemble your DIY dog treat station.

Create the frame of the game by attaching the three 16 inch pieces into a “U” shape. The drilled holes should be at the top of the “U.” Attach the 10 inch pieces to the sides of the frame to create stabilizing legs.

Step 4

Run the dowel rod through the plastic bottles and through the top of the frame.

Step 5

Fill the bottles with treats or food. As the dogs spin the bottle, the treats will fall out!
