Broadway's most talked about new musical and one of the biggest Tony winners in years is coming to Dallas March 23rd-April 4th, 2010 to the Winspear Opera House, AT&T Performing Arts Center.
Spring Awakening tells the story of three teenagers coming of age in oppressive 19th century Germany. It is a story of first love, regrets, and a celebration of the unforgettable journey from youth to adulthood. Winner of 8 Tony Awards including Best Musical, the show has received rave reviews across the country, been produced in 14 countries around the world, and was named “the most important musical of the last decade” by the New York Times. Most recently, The Denver Post called the Grammy-winning score by Duncan Sheik “the best original score since West Side Story.”

My oldest daughter is studying acting at Boston University. It’s been a tradition for us to see shows together. With her away, I would love to have a night out at the theatre!
I was just listening to this sound track today. How cool you are giving tickets away! When I saw this show in NYC, I was almost stunned by the intensity and passion of the actors and the music and the storyline. Also saw it in Houston last year. If I win these, they are going to a Twitter bud.
This is one of the greatest shows to hit Broadway and the tour cast is phenomenal! To win these tickets would mean a lot to me!
I highly suggest going to see this show for its message and the awesome talent behind it.
Spring Awakening is a mind blowing experience from start to finish. Ever since I saw it in NYC back in 2007, I’ve been dying to see it again, and this time, with my best friend who’s never seen it. Love, love this musical!! I saw it on broadway 30 times. Once in London. And saw the touring cast in CT a few weeks ago. Go see this show.
