Ingredients you’ll need:
- Blue Jello
- 2 cups boiling Water
- 2 cups cold water
- Sparkles or graham crumbs to rim the top, optional
- Cool Whip or Whipping Cream
- Blue food coloring
- Shark Gummies
- Shark Lollipops
Step One: Rim the dessert bowls or plastic cups with sprinkles or graham crumbs.

How to rim a bowl:
- Place the bowl face down into a flat plate with a pool of honey.
- Remove the bowl from the honey and dip it into the plate filled with sprinkles.
Step 2: Place a gummy shark in the bottom of each dessert bowl.

Step 3: Mix together the blue jello by following the box’s directions.

- Add 1 cup boiling water to jello mix and stir together until jello crystals are totally dissolved
- Then add 1 cup cold water to jello and stir.
Let the jello mixture cool slightly (so it doesn’t melt the gummy sharks!). Then pour into the dessert bowls.

Put dessert cups in the refrigerator for at least 4 hours.
Step 5: Decorate the tops of the snack bowls.

Decorating the tops of the blue jello shark cups could be a great activity to do with kids. Here are some ideas you might want to try:
- Fill up a small snack sized zip-loc bag with softened cool whip or whipping cream with a drop of blue food coloring. Have the kids mix the color in slightly, cut off the corner and have them squeeze some on the top. It makes great “sea foam”.
- Sprinkling graham cracker crumbs around the edges could look like sand on the beach.
- Adding gummy sharks, fish, or even gummy uni-sharks can add to the fun scene.
- Sticking a shark lollipop in the top is a fun idea, too.
