It got me thinking that I should make some Honey Lemon Homemade Suckers that would be soothing on dry throats. With our allergies being out of control, it was the perfect time to make these!
LET’S MAKE homemade LEMON HONEY SUCKERS
I love Honey Lemon Tea when I’m a little under the weather. Because of that, I thought these would be great when I didn’t have tea, and frankly lemon is my very favorite flavor so I knew I’d love these.

homemade Lemon Honey Suckers ingredients
- 1 cup sugar
- 2 tablespoons water
- 1/3 cup honey
- 10 drops lemon essential oil
- Sucker sticks
Instructions to make homemade lemon honey suckers
Step 1
Have a cookie sheet ready to go with parchment paper or Silpat lining it.
Step 2
Place the sugar, water, and honey into a pot and turn on medium heat.
Step 3
Stir until the sugar is dissolved.
Step 4
Once the sugar is dissolved, place your candy thermometer into the candy mixture and turn the heat up to high.
Step 5
Let the sugar mixture reach 300 degrees without mixing.
Step 6
Pour the sugar mixture very carefully into a glass bowl and quickly mix in the lemon essential oil.
Step 7
Pour small circles of the mixture onto the cookie sheet and insert the sucker sticks.
Step 8
Let the suckers cool and harden.
