Here’s what you’ll need to make two-ingredient lemon bars recipe.
- Angel Food Cake Mix
- 23 ounce can Lemon Pie Filling
How To Make Lemon Bars With Cake Mix
Step 1
Start by preheating the oven to 350 degrees.
Step 2
Spray a 9 x 13 pan with nonstick cooking spray.
Step 3
Mix together the Angel Food Cake Mix and the lemon pie filling in a medium-sized bowl.
Step 4
Spread in the 9 x 13 pan evenly.
Step 5
Cook for about 25 minutes or until the top is brown.
Step 6
Sprinkle the top with powdered sugar and enjoy!

Notes
These bars have a sponge cake-like consistency, this is due to the angel food cake and how it is a little more light and airy than a traditional cake mix.
We like to add cherry pie filling into this recipe sometimes too and have a slightly different version. It's delicious too!
