Over 1K Preschool Activities & Craft Ideas for Kids

Ignite hands-on learning for preschoolers with this mega resource for preschool activities, crafts, lesson plans, printables, games, projects and experiments.  With over one thousand ideas for preschoolers, we are confident that you can find just the perfect activity for school, home or just for fun.

Activities for Preschoolers

Kids Activities Blog has been creating preschool crafts and activities for 10 years.  Our team is comprised of moms, teachers, doctors, a physical therapist and a play therapist.  Together we have written what we are doing at home with our kids and what we have taught in the classroom.

To find a preschool activity that is a good fit, scroll through the library images below or use the search box to find a specific theme.  Many of the things that are presented make for good pre Kindergarten activities as well.  Don't overlook a simple tweak you might need to make the perfect activity fit your child's age like toddler or pre-Kindergartner.

How to Homeschool Preschool

To homeschool preschool is a big choice.  I made it with 2/3 of my boys because it just seemed to fit them better than going to a traditional preschool.

These days with distance learning in place and the fear of Covid-19, many are looking at options when it comes to a preschool education.  Whether you choose to go with a traditional preschool or decide to do preschool homeschool, we hope that the resources here at Kids Activities Blog will make your preschool play and learning easier (and more fun).

Learning Activities for Preschoolers

Let's get serious about play...nearly any type of play activity can be a wealth of learning information for a child.  Childhood is filled with daily lessons!  Stop trying to take preschool education too seriously and embrace the giggles, games and fun.

We think about preschoolers being 3 and 4, but even just those two years can cover a wide skill difference and kids learn at their own pace.  Their interests will change as they get older, but each topic obsession can bring lessons that they need to learn.

Pre-literacy activities and early literacy is a hallmark of many of our learning activities for preschoolers.  Hands-on learning with letters, books and words can bring reading skills into our homes and classrooms.

Play Ideas for Preschool Age Kids

Whether it is summer, after school or a weekend family play time.  Games, toys and play ideas are super important for the 3-4 year old child.  Think of this massive preschool resource list as a grab bag of play ideas that can be used for a preschool birthday party, playdate, learning experience, playtime or boredom buster.  Our printable play projects that that even a step further developing coordination, fine motor skills and pencil abilities.
