Many of my closest friends were the result of a moms’ group.   In fact, in the first few months I lived in the metroplex I joined a playgroup through the Double Oak Newspaper that lasted for 3 years.   There is just something comforting in finding a support system of people who are going through similar situations. Moms understand. Because of this, we wanted to highlight all the groups we could find.   Hopefully, it will spread the word about some amazing organizations – some more organized than others.   Please let us know in the comments if we missed one that you love.   We will add them to the list. local area moms groups

MOM SUPPORT GROUPS IN RICHARDSON

Fabulous 30s and 40s Moms (with Preschoolers)

Description: Fab 30s & 40s Moms is a playgroup  for moms in their mid 30’s to mid 40’s.  You and your child will have the opportunity to meet and build friendships with other moms and their kiddos who live in North Dallas, Lake Highlands, Richardson, Plano and Allen. This club discovers new and exciting adventures to experience from parks, zoos, storytimes, gyms, in-home playdates, water parks, and so much more! We also have the occasional “mom’s night out” at local restaurants.
