Who cares if the chicken or the egg came first when they are transformed into something as cute as these Spring Chick Egg Breakfast Sandwiches?
Each little egg sandwich is decorated using cheese and black olives to look like a fuzzy baby chick.
These sandwiches are perfect for Easter morning, and are so fun to serve as a bright and sunny Spring breakfast treat.
I piled turkey, cheddar cheese, and egg onto wheat toast to make my spring chicks, but you can use whatever your kids like to eat in the morning!
The best part of cooking with kids, is working together and using your imagination to whip up amazing creations!

Allergy Friendly Spring or Easter Breakfast Hacks and Activities
Holidays can be extra stressful for allergy mamas. You want to keep your kid safe, but your heart breaks a little whenever they feel left out.
Easter, in particular, can be hard, with all of the eggs, dairy, and bread products. The good news, is that there are plenty of yummy allergy-friendly substitutes that will allow your kiddos to have fun and remain healthy!
When it comes to allergy-friendly hacks for the Spring Chick Egg Breakfast Sandwich above, you can duplicate this recipe using: gluten free bread, dairy free cheese slices, an egg replacement–or even tofu, in order to accommodate several food allergies.
Any of these items can be replaced with fruit or veggies, if your child prefers a vegetarian/ vegan Spring Chick Sandwich.
If your child doesn’t care for any of those items, make your own version of this idea with allergy friendly pancakes! I love, love, love Cherrybrook Kitchen Pancake Mix because not only is it yummy, it’s also gluten and wheat-free, dairy-free, egg-free, and nut-free.
When it comes to Spring and Easter activities like Egg hunts, or decorating Easter eggs, you can substitute dyed eggs for plastic eggs full of allergy-friendly Easter treats, or use tiny toys, stickers, or fake tattoos as prizes, instead of candy.
Also, instead of dying eggs, use fun kits to decorate plastic or wooden eggs with stickers and paint.
