If you take her to a field of bluebonnets
she will definitely need her camera.
After she locates her camera
she may even want to make sure her children are in coordinating outfits.
Once her children are in coordinating outfits
she may ask you to help her pose them in the bluebonnets.
After her children are posed in the bluebonnets
she might notice that SECURITY has arrived.
Once SECURITY has arrived
she will probably mention how UN-Texan it is to chase mothers from fields of bluebonnets.
You might want to intervene before she gets carried away
and ask you for a lawyer.
So you will carry her away
to find another field of bluebonnets...
…because it is a sunny spring day.
If you give a Texas Mom a sunny spring day
she will ask you to find her a field of bluebonnets.
Welcome to Kids Activities!
My name is Holly Homer & I am the Dallas mom of three boys…
i just posted about taking pictures in bluebonnets. actually my last three posts are about that. i was experiencing blog block and just ran with the bluebonnet thing. three times. i even drove my kids to a field just to take pictures so i could write about it. once you have a good idea you must run with it. people who aren’t from texas or who have never lived here have no idea about the bluebonnet picture phenomenon. i made sure to tell the world. three times! gah!
Oh Bluebonnets are lovely. The security should just guard the area while the kids and you are taking photos.
that’s TERRIBLE!! no, not the photos, which are beautiful, but they don’t let you hang out on a field of bluebonnets in texas???? THAT’s terrible.
Applause. You do inspire.
You know, I’ve never SEEN a bluebonnet. Thanks for sharing them.
You crack me up. Do you have any creativity to spare?
I SO miss bluebonnets!
