Today I am sharing my family’s easy peasy go-to sweet roll recipe that you’ll surely love too!
This sweet roll recipe would be easier to make with a KitchenAid stand mixer, or any stand mixer you have at home. If you don’t have one yet, it’s okay! You can definitely make this recipe by kneading the dough by hand and with love for your fam!
Easy Sweet Roll Recipe ingredients
My favorite bread recipe ingredients
- 1 1/4 Cups MILK
- 2 Tablespoons BUTTER
- 2 teaspoons SUGAR
- 1 teaspoon SALT
- 3 Cups BREAD FLOUR
- 2 3/4 teaspoons ACTIVE DRY YEAST
Sprinkle Ingredients
- 1 c brown sugar
- 2 tablespoons cinnamon powder
Steps in making my easy peasy sweet roll recipe
Step 1
Mix together the dough ingredients and knead for 10+ minutes. (This is where kids come in really handy if you don’t already have a KitchenAid stand mixer.) Let rise for 20 minutes.
Step 2
Knead again for at least 5 minutes. Let rise for another 15 minutes.
Step 3
Roll out dough until it is about 1/2 inch thick. Spread melted butter evenly across the dough.
Step 4
Sprinkle with about a cup of brown sugar, about a 1/2 cup of sugar, and cinnamon to preference.
Step 5
Starting at one end, roll the dough jellyroll-style until it is a long cylinder.
Step 6
Cut into 2-inch segments and place in a greased pan.
Step 7
Bake at 350 degrees until golden brown – my oven usually takes about 25 minutes.

5. Roll the dough into a long cylinder, like a log.
6. Cut the log into 2-inch segments and place it in a greased pan.
7. Bake in the oven at 350 degrees for about 25 minutes or until golden brown.
