Who is GoHYHO? They are a new Deals site recently launched in Chicago and
Dallas. The site is
GoHYHO.com, which stands for “
Go Help Yourself, Help Others.” They offer top-notch deals at 50-90% off (like Groupon, Living Social, etc), but
10% of every buyer’s purchase goes to one of 5 local charity/nonprofit of their choice.
During the purchase process, users choose which of their five current partners they want to support.
Before they choose, users can read descriptions of:
- Who the organizations are
- What they do
- Where the money will go
The nonprofit in exchange will post updates to your profile page about how the money is used and the impact it creates. Check often to see how you’re impacting the community!
Every few months, they rotate their nonprofit partners to help users connect with new projects and causes they want to fund.

With GoHYHO you earn badges and trophies for the deals you buy and the projects you work on.
They create badges for things like recruiting 10 friends and donating $20 to your favorite charity or $5 to all of their charities and so on.
They find new ways to acknowledge the fun combinations their users create and help them share those experiences on Facebook and Twitter.

The Samaritan Inn The Samaritan Inn provides, at no cost, a holistic, interactive, in-house program that teaches self-sufficiency and life skills to individuals and families who are experiencing homelessness. Serving three well-balanced meals daily and providing personal hygiene products. If necessary, clothing, coats and shoes are also available. Within this nurturing environment, experienced caseworkers assess each resident and their needs to develop an individual program plan with a goal of independence.
Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation (JDRF) Greater Dallas Chapter Diabetes currently affects 285 million people worldwide and is expected to affect 435 million by 2030. In the U.S., a new case of diabetes is diagnosed every 30 seconds; more than 1.9 million people are diagnosed each year. The mission of JDRF is to find a cure for diabetes and its complications through the support of research. JDRF is the largest private funder of diabetes research in the world.
