red white blue festival logoThe Highland Village Red, White & Blue Festival is basking in its 12th year of success as it brings together Highland Village area families, outdoor and entertainment enthusiasts to celebrate summer. The 2011 Festival is expected to be the best yet!
She Is Dallas info: The Red, White, and Blue Festival will be held on Saturday, June 4th.   The morning activities begin at 7:00 at Unity Park, 2200 Briarhill Boulevard in Highland Village.   The evening activities begin at 5:00 at Copperas Branch park located at 100 Copperas Branch Drive in Highland Village.   Both events have free admission! Kids will have a blast at the Red, White, and Blue Festival Kid Zone where they will find games, train rides, bounce houses, face painting, treasure hunts, contests and goodies. Folding chairs or blanket for both locations. Please do not bring: Pets, Glass Containers, Alcoholic Beverages or Coolers. Free parking is available on-site at both locations.   There is also free off-site shuttle parking is available for the evening only.   The remote parking lot is located at Marcus High School at 5707 Morriss Road in Flower Mound. Directions to Remote Parking:
  • Southbound on I-35: Take Exit 454A, Loop under the bridge and turn left (west) on FM 407, turn left (south) on Morriss Rd.
  • Northbound on I-35: Take Exit 453, turn right and loop over the bridge, continue West on FM 407 and turn left (south) on Morriss Rd.
PLEASE NOTE:   The I-35 Southbound off-ramp for Garden Ridge, Exit 454B will be closed from 9:00 pm – 12:00 am.
