What is a NetZero 4G HotSpot?
NetZero 4G Mobile Broadband provides secure, mobile, super-fast 4G Internet access for your laptop, iPad ยฎ, netbook or tablet in over 80 cities across the U.S. One of those cities is Dallas. You can find out what the other cities are by visiting the NetZero websiteNetZero website.
Is the service unlimited?
Last time I checked (in 2020), they did not have an unlimited plan. There are data plans that offer a ton of data that may do the trick.Do I need a phone line?
Nope. For mobile broadband you do not need a phone line to use the service…who even has one of those anyway? How much data do I need?
Obviously, that will be based on how much you use the internet. Netzero guidelines are if you are checking your email and lightly using throughout the week then their Basic or Basic Plus plan would be a good choice. If you are using your HotSpot to watch videos (like me) on a regular basis and spending a lot of time online, then the Platinum or Platinum Plus is a better choice for you. The good news is you can switch plans. Why NetZero 4G HotSpot?
The internet connection is private and protected. Logging into public open-access Wi-Fi can be scary. Now I will be taking my own network with me. I also like that most of the places we regularly travel are among the 80 US cities supported by this service. I might admit to purchasing a monthly airport Wi-Fi plan once while stuck in a distant city JUST so I could finish the Netflix movie I was watching. If I had this back then it wouldn’t have been an issue. There are two speeds that customers can choose between: LightSpeed and WarpSpeed- LightSpeed is great for checking email and web browsing while conserving data usage.
- WarpSpeed is designed for more email, web browsing with video while maximizing speed.
It was 75 degrees today and WAY too nice to be cooped up inside.

I learned that it is very cheap to get net zero. I need a on the go service .
I learned how cheap it is to have a wifi hot spot! I really didn’t realize how inexpensive it was to have a mobile work station wherever I go!!
WOW I learned that it is not that expensive to have a hotspot .. worst case if $50 a month
Drats! It isn’t available in my immediate town (no surprise) but I can still use it for traveling which my hubby and I do. I really hate paying for internet at hotels. THANKS!
I learned about the different plans available
I like that the plans are affordable…. cheaper than my cable account.
Wow if I can move my home office this easily — Im in!!!! This would help me so much!
I would love this! No more meeting clients at restaurants with WiFi…we can meet anywhere!
I would use this hotspot to work while we travel to see family. I use the internet 24-7 and can’t post from my phone very well…so this would really give me a ton of options to work via iPad wifi or laptop!
I learned that for less then $25 I can have a wifi hot spot!
Thanks! This looks way more affordable and easier to use than expected. I’ll have to do more research to determine if NetZero’s data pkgs are a good fit for my needs.
