Ok I did it! I had my first experience at Christmas in Cowtown and now I’m hooked! This annual Holiday Market is hosted by the Junior League of Fort Worth and filled with rows and rows of goodies for now and for the holidays. Â It’s a great way to kick off your holiday shopping.
The Christmas in Cowtown Holiday Gift Market is at the Will Rogers Memorial Center in Fort Worth now through October 6th.
From holiday gifts to holiday gift wrap. Kids toys to homemade kids sleeping bags, there are 145 merchants with products including jewelry, clothing, home décor and a lot more.
I have to admit that I loved the booth with the homemade kids sleeping bags and tents. In fact, I picked up a few sleeping bags for my kids for Christmas.
You also need to know that while you are there, you will be “Shopping for a Cause”! Â This year’s beneficiaries include: Camp Fire USA, Girls Inc., KinderFrogs School at TCU, Opening Doors for Women in Need, Presbyterian Night Shelter and Van Cliburn International Piano Competition.
I will say that parking is a bit of a challenge. There’s a lot of construction around the Center. But once you get in, it’s well worth it.
If you plan on attending on Friday, October 5th, be sure to look for the These Boots Were Made for Shopping Girls â„¢ Night Out event. It includes a salsa and taco bar donated by Mi Cocina. Price is $25 per ticket.
