In November, Kim, Holly, Chris and I had the privilege of attending the
She Is Dallas booth at the North Texas Kids Expo. We alternated shifts and I was thrilled to “work” the booth with Chris. We had a great time meeting all the vendors and visiting with our readers and new readers as well.
One of the great finds for me was the discovery of local author, Diane Shapley-Box, creator of the award winning
Apple Bunch Book series. I did not have the pleasure of meeting her, but my mother visited with her as she purchased three of her books in which Diane kindly autographed each one for her. My mother said she was lovely and a delight.
