Holiday Basketball Camp, Corinth City Hall, 3300 Corinth Parkway. 10 December. Participants age 9-14 will receive instruction on the competitive elements of a basketball game to enhance fundamental skills and game specific strategies. The participants will explore the structure of team concepts with an assigned coach per group in a circuit training format. The coaches will implement proper shooting techniques (free throws, short corner shots, and lay-up and shooter selection) and learning of a variety of defensive systems and transitions. - Horses, 6-8 yrs ages. Imagine a whole art camp for horse lovers! From a Pegasus to a wild pony, create all sorts of horses and learn some tricks for drawing these complicated creatures. All drawing and craft projects will be based on the magnificence of all things equine. If you have always wanted to draw horses, this is the camp for you. - Star Wars! 6-8 yrs ages. Learn how to draw all sorts of interesting characters from the Star Wars series. This term we will be doing Darth Vader, Sith Lord, Jaba the Hutt, Droids, New Spacecraft, CP30, Ewoks and Sandpeople. Special attention will be made on the landscapes of the different worlds. Student afternoon session 9:00-12:00p Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday only. Tuition $120. Class meets December 19, 20, 21st only. $120.00 per Session.
- Acrylic Painting, 8-12 yrs ages. Special offering during the Christmas Holiday. Come paint a painting at Monart. 8×10 canvases in acrylic. Students can sign up and bring a friend, Mom, Dad or Grandma! Painting classes will be offered Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday from 3-5pm December 19, 20 and 21st. Pricing is $25.00 a class. Pricing for two students is $40.00.
- Chris Van Allsburg, Afternoon: 8 and older. He is the artist/author who illustrated and wrote The Polar Express, Jumanji, Swan Lake, The Witches Broom and several other classics. We will tackle Polar Express, Jumanji and Swan Lake with one story being done each day. Come hear the stories and draw something spectacular! Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday only – Dec. 19, 20 and 21st. 1-3pm $120.00. $100.00 per Session (full week)
- Pokemon Mania, Afternoon: 6-12 yrs. Everything Pokemon — If you have got a Pokemon fanatic in your family this is the class for them. Three afternoons of drawing Pokemon. Class will meet 1-2:30p on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday – December 19, 20 and 21st. Students will also have the opportunity to create their favorite character out of air dry clay. Tuition $40.
- Watercolors with Sharen, Mornings: Adult 13+. Something special for our older students. Students 13 and older can come take a 2 day watercolor class from Sharen Chatteron. Sharen is a local artist who has really begun to make a name for herself. Her use of brilliant colors and layering of colors in watercolors is dramatic. Sharen will teach the classes on Tuesday, Dec. 27th from 10-12p (Pointsettas) and Wednesday Dec. 28th 10-12p (Christmas ornaments). Classes include supplies. $60.00 The drawing portion of this class will be quite easy. For beginners as well as experienced artists! $60.00 per Session (full week)
- Clay Modeling Afternoon: 8-12 yrs. Hands-On class learning how to manipulate Model Magic clay. Some lessons will incorporate artistic lessons and study of Matisse and Van Gogh. Model Magic is a non-firing clay process that air dries. All clay projects are flexible in offering, we anticipate making the following items: bracelets, cell phones, bugs, flowers, fish, snow globes, magnets. Times are 12:30-2:30p Monday-Friday May not be suitable for students with a gluten allergy.

- Nature Ornaments, Wednesday, December 21st. Using wood collected from our sanctuary, each child will have the opportunity to create a couple of decorations for your home this holiday season. A visit from a live animal ambassador and a nature hike on our sanctuary will focus on the winter beauty of the outdoors.
- Animal Decorations, Thursday, December 22nd. Each child will have an opportunity to create an assortment of animal decorations inspired by some of the animals found at the Heard. A nature walk on the sanctuary will include visits to the indoor and outdoor animal exhibits. And each child will get an up close and personal visit from one our animal ambassadors.
