If you’re looking for a craft that is a lot of fun and doesn’t require much prep, you’re in the right place! Today we have a cute origami fox tutorial that’s perfect for younger artists as well as adults.
Instructions:
Before we begin, make sure you have a square piece of paper ready. You can use regular paper, but origami paper works better for this project. Now, let’s get started with the step-by-step instructions:
Step 1:
Start with a square piece of paper. If you’re using origami paper, begin with the white side facing up.
Step 2:
Fold the bottom corner up to the top corner to create a triangle. Ensure the corners are lined up perfectly and crease the bottom.
Step 3:
Take both bottom corners and fold them up to the top to create a smaller square.
Step 4:
Flip the paper over and fold it in half to create another triangle.
Step 5:
Take the left corner where the flaps are and fold it to the side and down to the bottom point. Then rotate so the flaps are on the right side. This will create the fox’s ears!
Step 6:
For the face, take the second flap and fold it up. Use your middle finger to push in the middle to open it. Press down and line up the nose with the edge.
Step 7:
Now let’s make the fox’s tail! Fold the left corner in and line it up with the bottom.
Step 8:
Using a marker, draw the face and any other details you desire.
Your own fox origami? is now complete! This cute little creature can stand on its own, adding a touch of charm wherever it goes.
