Come out to the UNT Athletic Center this weekend for the Mean Green Football Women’s Clinic and help usher in a new era in North Texas Football. You can be among the very first to run out of the team tunnel and onto the turf of the brand new Mean Green stadium!
Mean Green Nation is proud and strong and has thousands of women who cheer on their North Texas team. So to gain greater knowledge and insight into the game of college football, especially North Texas Football, join the Mean Green football coaching staff for this outstanding opportunity. Head Coach Dan McCarney and his staff will host classroom sessions and field demonstrations. You will enjoy lunch with the staff and raffle prizes will also be given away throughout the day.

She Is Dallas info: The Mean Green Football Women’s Clinic will take place Saturday, July 30, 2011 from 9:30 am – 4:00 pm. Check in begins at 8:30 at the University of North Texas Athletic Center, 1301 S. Bonnie Brae St. in Denton,940-565-2662. See the UNT Campus Map to help you find the Athletic Center. The women’s clinic fee is $60 but you can pre-register online for just $50. University of Texas students, faculty, and staff get a discount price of $40 with a University ID card.

Registration is for women ages 16 and older. The clinic includes lunch with North Texas coaching staff and a T-shirt. Dress is casual–sneakers and shorts are recommended. Instruction and contests to take place on the football field.
Participation in the actual football drills are optional.

This event is so fun! I highly recommend coming and learning about the sport of football, but also about the Mean Green!

Go for it! You don’t have to actually do any of the drills. It’s really an awesome idea and a fun get together for women in the area.
I so want do this, but I am a little scared. Haha!
I’m going! I’ve gone the last 3 years (when it was just an evening format) and it is fun and I have actually learned from it.
