Restaurant.com is a great website for saving money on restaurants in your area. They make deals with restaurants all over the country – 18,000 nationwide – and it can save you big money when it comes to dining out.
How does it work?
Search the
Restaurant.com website for a restaurant near you. I usually start with a zip code search to find restaurants in my area from 1 – 30 miles away. Then I will refine my search with the sidebar on the right. Depending on what I’m looking for I can refine the search based on type of cuisine, average entree price, new restaurants, or special features such whether or not they offer a children’s menu or delivery.
Once you have your list, you can scroll down to find the restaurants that have deals available.
Click on a restaurant that you are interested in.
Dino’s Steak and Claw House in Grapevine was recently reviewed on She Is Dallas so we’ll take a look at their page on Restaurant.com.
You will see a map and a list of hours and any special amenities at the restaurant. There are usually links available that you can use to view the restaurant’s menu and even make a reservation. Go to the blue box in the upper left side of the page to select the denomination that you want for your dining certificate. As you can see, Dino’s offers 4 choices: $25 certificate for $10, $50 certificate for $25, $75 certificate for $35, and even $100 certificate for only $50.
You pick your own deal!
You do need to be sure to check any restrictions before you make your purchase. Some restaurants may require a certain minimum purchase in order to use the dining certificate or they may have restrictions that only let you use the dining certificate on a weekday and not the weekend.
Checkout then print your dining certificate and bring it to the restaurant to use like any other gift certificate.
It’s really that easy! And if you aren’t ready to use your dining certificates yet, don’t worry. They never expire!
