Mattel, the makers of Barbie, has been releasing new dolls to make more girls feel included and feel closer to Barbie now more than ever (which I think any parent can appreciate). And now, Barbie Released a Doll in a Wheelchair to add to that collection and parents seem to be very happy about it.

The Barbie Fashionistas Doll comes with a Rolling Wheelchair and Ramp. You can get her with blonde hair or Brunette.

“Barbie doll has 22 “joints” Across her neck, upper arms, elbows, wrists, torso, hips, upper legs, knees and ankles so she can comfortably sit and maneuver in her wheelchair.”

People are not only supportive of this Barbie doll, but they applaud Mattel’s decision to bring Barbie in a wheelchair back. It was said these were available many years ago but were discontinued because the wheelchair didn’t fit into Barbie dollhouses. Nonetheless, I am glad to see them back!
