When I think of Fall, I think of flavors such as pumpkin, maple and of course, all things baked.
These cupcakes are what I like to call a “crowd pleaser” which means you can make them in larger quantities and pass out at gatherings and people will love them!

Here is what you need to make Maple Walnut Cupcakes recipe:
- All-purpose flour
- Baking powder
- Salt
- Butter
- White sugar
- Pure maple syrup (trust me, this is the good stuff)
- Eggs
- Maple extract
- Milk
- Chopped walnuts
- Piping Bag with Star Tip
For Icing:
- Powdered sugar
- Pure maple syrup
- Milk
- Maple Extract

For The Cupcakes:
Step 1
Preheat oven to 350° and place paper baking cups into 24 regular-sized muffin cups.
Step 2
In a medium bowl, mix flour, baking powder, and salt.
Step 3
In a large bowl, cream sugar, butter, syrup, and eggs.
Step 4
Next, add maple extract.
Step 5
On a low speed, alternate blending in dry mixture and milk. Stir in nuts.
Step 6
Fill each muffin cup up about 2/3 full and bake for 20-25 minutes until an inserted toothpick comes out clean. Cool thoroughly before frosting.
For The Frosting:

Combine all of the ingredients on medium speed. Swirl onto the cupcakes.
For The Topping:

Sprinkle each with chopped walnuts.

- 2/3 cup milk
- 1/4 cup chopped walnuts

- 3 cups powdered sugar
- 2 tablespoons pure maple syrup
- 1 tablespoon milk
- 1 teaspoon maple extract
For The Topping
- Chopped Walnuts
