School Break, I ™m here to show you how to make it a fun & memorable one for the entire family!
What do THEY want to do?
I am always scouring the Internet to find unique and fun things for us to do as family in my local area, but have found that many of my ideas are not exactly what the kids would like to do. What do you mean you don't want to learn how to make your own soap?? So this year, I asked the kids to brainstorm a list of ideas that they wanted to do for Spring Break. I gave them no limitations except that we were staying home each night.
What is something you have always wanted to do but we haven't found the time to yet?
Make sure you take lots of pictures of all the fun you have that week! It is guaranteed to be a Spring Break full of fun memories “ a Staycation you won't want to forget!
For many, Spring Break conjures up images of playing on the beach somewhere warm or freezing your nose off while skiing with the family all day long. Well if you aren't jetting off this
Welcome to Kids Activities!
My name is Holly Homer & I am the Dallas mom of three boys…
Becca, your ideas are always so great! This post makes me miss Texas. Sooo many fun things to do in one state. Emma would totally love to grow up there!!
I laughed out loud when I read “What do you MEAN you don’t want to learn how to make your own soap?” So funny, and so true.
Okay, TX has WAY better stuff than OR! 🙂
You always have the BEST ideas, Becca!! Such a fun way to spend Spring Break…AND the kiddos can’t complain b/c everyone has pitched in ideas!
Great ideas! Even your brainstorming looks fun!
I think we’re staying home for Spring Break….there are so many great ideas here that I know we can fill that time! Just please pray that Colorado doesn’t get snow that week. K?
Thanks Kristina!
So many great ideas Rebecca! I need to plan a staycation with my family soon!
This is really a great idea. Often parents will think what is good for their children but never hear what their children really wanted to do. It’s something we should try it out. Thanks for sharing!
I grew up in Round Rock…I want to come to your Spring Break!!!
It’s a GREAT place to grow up!!
