Here in Australia, no birthday party is ever complete without chocolate crackles, a chocolate treat that can be made with two ingredients like chocolate and rice krispies. Kids love them and so do adults, which is why it’s always nice to find a treat that is quick and easy to make with kids like this two-ingredient chocolate treat recipe.
let’s make two-ingredient chocolate treat recipe
The original recipe has a few additional ingredients like copha, coconut, and icing sugar, but using just chocolate and rice krispies makes it quicker, easier, and according to my kids, yummier chocolate crackle.
I like to use dark chocolate but milk chocolate works, too. Of course, the fun part of making these (other than licking out the bowl) is decorating them. Traditionally, they’re decorated with sprinkles but we call them “hundreds and thousands” and if you ever accidentally spill them you’ll know why.
