Nothing is better than a healthy snack for kids. Except when you find a fast and easy snack for kids that happens to be healthy too. I also love these banana cookies because they’re so versatile. Just start with whole oats and ripe bananas, then add anything (or nothing) at all.

Supplies Needed Make 2-Ingredient Banana Cookies

  • 2 ripe bananas
  • 1 cup of whole oats
  • 1/4 cup of any add-ins you like: pecans (pictured here), almonds, peanut butter, chocolate chips…

How to Make 2-Ingredient Banana Cookies

Step 1

Preheat the oven to 375 degrees F.

Step 2

Prepare a cookie sheet with parchment paper, butter or a silicone liner.

Step 3

Simply mash the bananas in a bowl the add the oats and stir. If you choose to include more add-ins, throw ’em in.

Step 4

Form the “dough” into little mounds, about 2 inches across.

Note:

They won’t rise or change shape in the oven.

Step 5

Bake for 12 minutes.
