I mean I absolutely HATE cord clutter.
Did I mention I hate cord clutter?
My husband won’t let me touch the kajillion {not exaggerating} power cords, computer cords and the other cords that I don’t understand, but seem to be necessary in his office.
BUT the rest of the house is mine and that means that the cords HAVE to be controlled.
I found something recently that I LOVE…Bluelounge Design Cablebox Mini

I picked it up at the Container Store, but found them on Amazon as well {and have linked those locations throughout this post}.
The CableBox is a plastic box with openings on both ends for cords to enter and exit. It also includes a power strip that fits in the bottom of the box.
I bought a lime green one for the homeschool room computer. The picture at the top of this post is the mess that WAS the cords under the desk. And here is the after…
For this situation, I placed the Lime Green Cablebox
on the desk behind the computer next to the printer. All the cords that communicate between the computer, printer and outlet are contained neatly in the box.
Let’s fix the mess under the TV cabinet!
For this situation, I used a black CableBox 
and set it on the floor.
Which makes the mess just GO AWAY.
Love.

That is so very cool! I too am always trying to clean up cords. I have a box of twist ties that I use for all the excess but it still never seems as clean as I’d like. I had a buy a huge ugly desk just to hide all the cords behind it for my husbands computers. Yes you read that right he has more than one. He has FOUR! He’s a tech geek and a gamer so he loves his computers but I hate the mangled webs of cords. I would love to have a nice antique desk with a little lap top on it but that will NEVER happen for me. The mess of cords at our TV entertainment mecca is so bad that the Bronx Zoo cobra could curl up back there, and no one would even notice. It drives me crazy daily. If I thought that many cords could fit into that tiny box, I would totally buy one. Sadly, I think I would need a cord organizer the size of my TV to hold the wii, xbox, cable box, cable modem, router, receiver, surround sound speaker wire, dvr box, television, AND all the cords that link them to each other. *sigh*
