Last Saturday between 11 and 2 the Flower Mound Library was overflowing with summer excitement. It was the library’s annual Summer Fun Showcase where local businesses present to eager parents and kids what they have to offer to keep children entertained this summer.

I had never attended this event before so I was very surprised to pull into the library parking lot at 11:15 and find it FULL. Unfortunately mother nature was pretending it was winter this day because there were bounce houses and other outdoor activities available…but very lonely in the windy 32 degree air.

Inside was much more pleasant with booths lining the library hall and conference room. I tried to pick up information from everyone, but if I missed some, please leave a comment below and I will add it.
