Trust me, it tastes like you spent a lot of time and effort on it when you really just whipped it up at the last minute. And, the best part is it only uses five ingredients.

- 1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1 package hot/spicy sausage
- 1 small can chopped green chilies
- 1 package of cream cheese
- 1 sourdough bread boule
directions to make back pocket dip
Step 1
Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
Step 2
Hollow out the bread boule.
Step 3
Chop and cook the brown sausage.
Step 4
Microwave cream cheese for 1 minute.
Step 5
Mix cheddar cheese, sausage, chilies, and cream cheese together.
Step 6
Put all the mixed ingredients in the hollowed-out bread boule.
Step 7
Put the bread boule with dip on a cookie sheet and cook in the oven for 20 minutes at 350.
How to Serve back pocket dip
Best served with tortilla chips! Or if you are feeling brave (and no one is looking), you could even spread this dip on a nice soft piece of bread and eat it as a sandwich. It is that good! You could also save the bread cubes from when you hollowed out the boule and use them to dip with if you like.
