She Is Dallas Info: The West Plano Family-pa-looza will take place on Sunday, October 30th from 3:00 – 6:00 pm at 6800 Preston Meadow Drive in Plano. This is in the field between Gulledge Elementary and Robinson Middle School. Cost: Bring a donation for Minnie’s Food Pantry. For $5.40, Minnie’s Food Pantry can feed a family of four for a week so cash can go farther than cans but all help is greatly appreciated. Some of the great activities at this family-friendly event include bounce houses, obstacle courses, interactive games, video games, carnival games, slides, rock wall, popcorn, cotton candy, face painting, balloon artists, arts and crafts vendors, music, raffle, and even a petting zoo!
About Minnie’s Food Pantry
Minnie's Food Pantry provides free quality food to feed families in need. Eligibility to receive food is determined the federal income guidelines which base a persons need on their income. Based on availability, we distribute a protein source such as meat, frozen or canned or peanut butter, fresh fruits, vegetables, milk as well as non-perishables items to our clients.
Minnie's Food Pantry provides a free supply of emergency groceries once every two weeks per each household for residents who do not have enough food because they lack the resources to purchase it. We serve low income families; single parents; senior citizens; unemployed individuals; disabled veterans; working poor, and anyone that comes to the pantry that needs emergency food assistance, we serve anyone regardless of their race, color, or religion.

Thanksgiving Food Giveaway – From our table to yours: What would Thanksgiving be without a turkey and a meal? Minnie's Food Pantry provides hundreds of turkeys and food baskets to families in need who might not be able to enjoy a Thanksgiving meal. If you would like to donate a turkey, ham, or other food items for this outreach program please contact us at (972) 596-0253. Volunteers can help donate, collect, or give away dinners and toiletry bags.
Christmas Food and Toy Giveaway: Generous Stranger Campaign – Minnie's Food Pantry provides food and toys to all families in need.
