Dallas Arboretum.
This place is what I envision heaven to look like. It’s breathtaking.
My kids had to suffer as my mom and I took picture after picture of all of the beautiful things to see.
I love this idea for container gardening- you know for when I have a spare canoe hanging around.
The kids loved the pioneer village- especially the sod house and the covered wagon.
I had envisioned getting a fabulous picture of me with the kids and of the kids together. Here’s what I got:
At least the other pictures turned out well.
The last picture was after about fifty tries. When Baby #1 snapped at Baby #3 to “LOOK AT THE CAMERA ALREADY” I figured that my perfect picture wasn’t meant to be. It was still totally worth it to take in God’s glorious creation.

Today my mom and I took the kids to the Welcome to Kids Activities!
My name is Holly Homer & I am the Dallas mom of three boys…
My spouse and I stumbled over here coming from a different website and thought
I should check things out. I like what I see so now i’m following you. Look forward to finding out about your web page for a second time.
Thanks so much for this review and the great pictures of your family!
Great Pix! I go to the Arboretum every year kicking and screaming, and then I am so glad I did…that place is truly amazing. And a BOUNTY of photo ops!!
