International Travel requirements are constantly changing & more of us are in need of a Passport – whether it is for Spring Break travel or Summer Vacation.   A quick trip to Cancun, Mexico used to be so easy but I have found myself going through the process of Applying for a U.S. Passport.

Here are a few easy steps for you to follow & some LOCAL details as well:

1.   Complete Application for Passport: DS11 You can complete it ONLINE, PRINT IT, or fill it out IN PERSON (see below for locations around the Flower Mound area)

3. PHOTO: **Note – A Passport Photo will never be the most glamorous picture that you take. Be prepared for it to possibly be the ugliest picture ever.** Ok, that being said:

  • Picture must be on a White Background
  • Must be taken within the last 6 Months
  • Wear your “Street Clothes” – this does not mean gang attire
  • You can take these with a Digital Camera – Just make sure to follow the rules.
  • Photo must be 2 in X 2 in
  • Our LOCAL offices listed above have Photo Abilities ON-SITE

4. PROOF of Citizenship

Primary Evidence of U.S. Citizenship (One of the following):

Previously issued, undamaged U.S. Passport
Certified birth certificate issued by the city, county or state*
check box Consular Report of Birth Abroad or Certification of Birth
Naturalization Certificate
Certificate of Citizenship
