Truffle and parmesan popcorn is a light snack that doesn’t sacrifice taste whatsoever, and the truffle oil (although a splurge) creates an evening of affluent tastes…it’s the Oscars after all! In fact, this treat would go quite well with a fancy glass of bubbly.

And, when the hubby asks why you’ve fallen silent at the mere sight of Bradley Cooper, no need to lie, just shove a handful of that trufflicious treat into your mouth and your response will be incomprehensible!

Truffle and Parmesan popcorn recipe ingredients

  • 1/4 cup finely chopped fresh chives
  • 2 teaspoons black truffle oil
  • Salt and freshly ground black pepper
  • 1 cup grated Parmesan
  • 1 teaspoon garlic salt
  • 1 bag microwave popcorn OR stovetop or air-popped popcorn (preferred)

How to make truffle and parmesan popcorn

Step 1

Saute butter and chives in a saucepan for about 30 seconds.

Step 2

Remove from the heat and add the truffle oil. Season the mixture with salt and pepper.

Step 3

Put the popcorn in a large bowl and pour the truffled butter on it. Sprinkle with parmesan cheese.

Step 4

Toss well to mix. Serve and enjoy!

Ingredients

  • 1/4 cup finely chopped fresh chives
  • 2 teaspoons black truffle oil
  • Salt and freshly ground black pepper
  • 1 cup grated Parmesan
  • 1 teaspoon garlic salt
  • 1 bag microwave popcorn OR stovetop or air-popped popcorn (preferred)

Instructions

    1. Get a small saucepan and saute butter in chives for about 30 seconds.
    2. Turn off the heat and add truffle oil, salt, and pepper to taste.
    3. Transfer the popcorn onto a large bowl. Pour the truffle butter mixture over it. Sprinkle some parmesan.
    4. Mix by tossing and then serve. Enjoy!
