My daughter is already laying out her new red dress to wear to this year’s Daddy Daughter Dance hosted by the City of Arlington. The special “date night” with her dad is an annual tradition, when she puts on big girl shoes and he squeezes in his wedding tux. We smile and assure him it still fits, as long as he leaves the vest open…
The dance will be held on Saturday, Feb. 23 at the Arlington Convention Center. Party goers can choose from an early dance 4-6pm or a later dance from 6-9pm. Music, light refreshments, complementary photos and precious memories are all included in the evening. Tickets are $20/person until January 31st, so don’t procrastinate! They go up to $30/person on February 1st, and are $40/person at the door. Girls are asked to wear after 5 dress, and suits or tuxedos for the dads.
As a special treat, a stretch hummer limousine will take guest on a ride around the Ranger’s Ballpark in Arlington and Cowboy’s Stadium for $5.00/person.
