Live Positively Youth Baseball Clinic

We were invited to the Youth Ballpark next to the Ballpark in Arlington by Coca-Cola for the inaugural Live Positively Get the Ball Rolling Youth Clinic with Texas Rangers Legend Rusty Greer. We were attending the baseball clinic with The Boys & Girls Club of Arlington.   Each kid had glove in hand and despite the Texas heat, was ready to play ball.

They split the kids into groups and rotated through several learning stations.   My boys ™ favorite area was the pitching clinic.

{That is Rusty Greer kneeling on the right}.   The kids were taught tricks and techniques and each got plenty of time to practice.

The Live Positively Program promotes a healthy balance for youth.   They are supporting education through scholarships, support for national active, healthy lifestyle programs and the popular My Coke Rewards for schools program.   Coca-Cola sponsors Triple Play ”Boys & Girls Clubs of America's National after-school program.   Triple Play educates kids on proper nutrition, exercise and teamwork, helping them make positive food choices and develop a healthy sense of self-reliance.

All the kids had a great time.   They asked lots of questions at during the Q&A with Rusty Greer and a local dietician who was there to talk about healthy food for optimal sports performance.

I took my kids home happy and exhausted!
