and explains why I have been to three pools and two water fountains this week. When you have boys it is ALL about energy management.
By the way, the nap was not in the quiet surroundings you might imagine from that picture. It was in a large noisy room full of boys practicing karate and parents/siblings waiting.

Do you know that I have no pool pics from this summer.
Why you ask?
Because we have a new “rule” at our pool. NO PICTURES!
No camera allowed at the pool. Too many people posting pics online of kids and adults in swim suits.

Whatever. I am still bitter. I have no pictures of my third child at the pool. Flipping frogs!!!!
You’re so right — it IS all about energy management with boys! I always feel like if they’re filthy and tired by the end of the day, I’ve done my job well.

What fun!! Taking the toddlers 2 plus boy to the pool is just too much work (and money) *lol* I’ll just have to take them over my friends house for water play as frequently as possible *G*

I look back wistfully upon the pool days. Our favorite was the swim club on Sunday mornings when everyone else was at church. A Junior Olympic size pool, a wader, and a jacuzzi, plus our own personal lifeguard all to ourselves.
We still spend a lot of time at the pool, but they’re playing water polo and I’m trying to keep my skin from getting sun-damaged!
Love it! Snorkie does the same thing Than the Good Lord. Sometimes it’s a bummer when they nap though, makes it harder to get them to bed early!
