Have you heard of the amazing new release from LEGO called
Life of George? It’s sure to be on every kid’s wish list this holiday season!
Life of George is the first LEGO game that uses real LEGO bricks and interacts with your iPhone or iPod Touch through
Augmented Reality. It sells for $29.99 and comes with 144 basic bricks, a special play mat, Getting Started guide and George sticker. Then you download the app for your device and start playing.
George appears on your phone and shows you a picture of something from his travels. You have to recreate the object with the included LEGO pieces….and you are being timed so you’d better hurry. When you have duplicated the LEGO image, place your creation on the special mat and take a picture with your phone’s camera. This stops the timer and the game moves on from there. You get points for speed as well as accuracy and you can progress up through 12 levels.
There are options for a single player game or you can play a two-player game to compete against each other for the title of fastest builder. There is also a Creation Mode where you can make your own creations and add them to the digital LEGO images on your phone.
